Google Meet setup checklist

Launch Cluegent before opening the Meet call, add your resume context, and test in a private practice meeting. Keep the overlay away from Meet captions, the participant rail, and bottom controls. If you expect to present, test whether you will share a tab, a window, or the entire screen because those are different capture paths.

Voice, type, and screenshot workflows

Listening mode is useful for permitted spoken questions. Typed prompts are faster when you need a rewrite, example, or shorter answer. Screenshot mode is the better choice for visible code, system-design diagrams, stack traces, or questions shared in the Meet chat.

Google Meet troubleshooting

If answers lack context, verify the selected microphone and system permissions, then restart listening. If screen content is incomplete, resize the source window so the full question is visible before taking a screenshot. Customize listening responses to be concise and easy to speak.

Presenting safely and responsibly

Cluegent does not join Meet as a participant. Its private overlay is designed around standard screen-sharing behavior, not every monitoring method. Use it only when AI assistance, transcription, and screenshots are permitted by the interviewer, organization, platform, and applicable law.

Customize Cluegent for your context

Cluegent is not one fixed answer style. You can tune the assistant around your resume, screen, voice context, and repeated prompts.

Resume context

Add your resume in Settings → Customize so Cluegent can keep your background, projects, skills, and experience in mind while helping with permitted interviews.

Listening responses

Customize how Cluegent answers from live transcript context: concise, detailed, example-first, interviewer-facing, or any style that matches your workflow.

Screen and type responses

Set separate behavior for screenshot-based answers and typed prompt answers, so code screens, visual questions, and direct questions get the right response style.

Quick action buttons

Create quick action buttons for repeated prompts like answer shortly, give an example, explain tradeoffs, brainstorm, or ask the next question.
