Practice behavioral and technical questions differently
For behavioral questions, create a STAR outline with a measurable result and likely follow-ups. For coding questions, practice the problem restatement, approach, complexity, edge cases, implementation decisions, and the explanation you would say aloud.
Ask for useful variations
Instead of asking for one perfect response, ask for a concise answer, a detailed answer, an example, a tradeoff, and an interviewer follow-up. This teaches you how the story changes when the interviewer wants more detail.
Use live support only where allowed
